Tottenham Hotspur manager Nuno Espirito Santo says Harry Kane is available to face Manchester City.

The England captain has only just returned to Spurs after his extended break after Euro 2020.

Reports claim Kane wants to join City, with Pep Guardiola recently admitting the club were interested in the striker.

But asked if Kane is available for selection for Sunday's league opener, Nuno told Sky Sports: "All the players in the squad that work on a daily basis will be options for us, then it's up to us to decide."

And Nuno says he will focus on having talks with Kane as soon as possible.

He said: "It's not about that, it's about what we have to do to solve the situation – this is important.

"First of all we have to speak. This is going to happen today (Monday) and after that, we hope to solve all situations.

"We have to solve it together, everybody involved has to solve it together, speaking, having a nice conversation and putting out our opinions. But everybody together."
