Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shrugged off criticism after his comments about the change in refereeing this season.
Solskjaer has taken issue with Premier League refs being more lenient this term, which has sparked a backlash from many inside the English game.
He told VG: "To draw a picture with such words, I should perhaps have known that there were headlines, but I do not care that there will be headlines either.
"It was just to draw a small picture of what football has been. I said that it used to be like basketball, meaning that you are not allowed to touch each other. It got a little too extreme, it got to being punished if you breathed on people. I did not think it was a rugby match now. But we must make sure that we do not cross the line.
"There was one comment. We must not go from one side to the other. It is very, very important. But I am confident that it will go well.
"I'm very happy with the verdict, me. I think it must be a sport with contact, it must be clear fouls for it to be given free kicks and penalties. It is important that the match flows."
