Burnley have been bolstered by the news that Lyon have accepted their £15 million offer for Maxwel Cornet.

The 24-year-old is Sean Dyche's primary target for the remainder of the transfer window.

The Ivory Coast left-back now has to decide if he wants to move to Burnley, per Sky Sports.

The offer would a club record-equalling transfer, considering the same fee was paid to Middlesbrough for centre-back Ben Gibson in 2018.

Cornet is a key player for Lyon, while he can play as a left-back, left wing back, and even a left sided attacker.

He has 51 goals in all competitions for Lyon. Now the 24-year-old has to make a key decision about his future.
