Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has signed a one-year contract extension with the club.
The Swiss international was linked with a move to Roma for much of the summer transfer window.
But the two clubs could not agree a fee, with Xhaka now committing to Arsenal until 2024.
The agreement includes an option for another year.
According to Sky Sports, Arsenal are also optimistic about securing Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid, either on loan or permanently.
