Crystal Palace have moved ahead of Leeds United in the race to sign Huddersfield star Lewis O'Brien.
According to Football Insider, Palace are hijacking the Elland Road club's attempt to secure O'Brien this summer.
The midfielder is only 22, and is highly rated by Premier League scouts.
New Palace boss Patrick Vieira is eager to reshape his side, given the number of first team stars who left on free transfers in the summer.
But Leeds are not likely to give up on O'Brien, as they are also pushing to strengthen their squad on the eve of the new Premier League season
