Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero admits they're seeking a winger addition.
Ferrero admits it's a personal request from new coach Roberto D'Aversa.
“Sampdoria deserve an important season and we'll keep out players," the 70-year-old said.
Denmark midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard is reportedly among the most wanted players in Europe after his performances during UEFA Euro 2020, but Sampdoria won't accept offers below €40m.
“D'Aversa wants a top winger and Ferrero will give it to him," Ferrero revealed.
