West Ham United are growing frustrated in their pursuit of Chelsea center back Kurt Zouma.

The Hammers are still in the market for a defender, with the Frenchman emerging as a key target.

But according to The Guardian, Zouma's wage demands are far too high for the Hammers to consider.

West Ham may be willing to bid the £25 million Chelsea are seeking for the centre-back, but they are not eager to break their wage structure to sign him.

The Hammers also pulled out of a deal for Fiorentina's Nikola Milenkovic.
