Mundo Deportivo says Liverpool are the frontrunners to sign Sanches this summer.
The Reds have moved ahead of Barceelona in the race to sign the Lille midfielder.
The report states that Lille are looking to cash in on Sanches' services before this month's deadline, with a €40m asking price being quoted.
It has also been claimed that it “seems almost impossible" that Barca could sign Sanches, making Liverpool the favourites to strike a deal.
