AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud struck twice in their friendly win against Panathinaikos.

Giroud admits he's enjoying his first weeks with the Rossoneri.

“I'm very happy," Giroud told Sky Italia. “Today was a very good game for me, because I scored two goals.

“I thank the lads for the assists. We could have scored even more goals, I also hit the post. We are improving with every game by creating many chances in the last metres.

“We are sorry to have conceded a goal, but I'm very satisfied with the performance."

Giroud said his form is also down to the 'desire and understanding' between him and his new teammates at Milanello.

“I don't think it's a question of players or how many forwards that are playing, but there's a desire to play well together and create opportunities," he continued.

“We understand each other very well on the pitch and I have a good relationship with all my teammates.

“Everyone must help and we have high hopes for the future."
