Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has offered an update on goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

The English shot-stopper was ruled out of their first game of the Premier League season, a 5-1 win over Leeds United, due to COVID-19.

Henderson is working to recover from contracting the virus, but there is no clear timetable on when he may be available.

Solskjaer is positive that if he is feeling well, the keeper may be involved with the team at some stage in the week.

"We will see how he feels and, hopefully, he can join in training on Monday," Solskjaer told the club website ahead of Sunday's clash with Southampton.

"It is a big important test for him and we hope he is feeling better."
