Olympique Marseille are challenging Everton for Brighton striker Neal Maupay.

Brighton face a battle to keep hold of the Frenchman before next week's transfer deadline.

Everton are keen, though Sky Sports says Marseille president Pablo Longoria is also interested.

Maupay has a deal with the Seagulls until 2023.

Just this week, Brighton manager Graham Potter insisted he didn't wish to lose the striker this month.
