Tottenham are heating up their pursuit of Atalanta's centre back Cristian Romero.
The 23-year-old, who was with Argentina at Copa America this summer, is very eager to complete a transfer to the North London club.
According to Sky Italia, Atalanta have yet to agree to a sale, despite reports in England suggesting a £43 million bid had been accepted.
Romero wants to sign for Spurs and play under Nuno Espirito Santo in the Premier League.
But Atalanta are holding out for a huge fee in exchange for their prized asset.
