Southampton are a step away from signing Torino defender Lyanco.
Saints made a move for the Brazilian last week and he was left out of Toro's Serie A season opener on the weekend.
Instead, reports Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Lyanco was undergoing a medical with Southampton ahead of sealing his move to St Mary's.
Saints will cough up around €7.5m for Lyanco, who will arrive as a replacement for Jannick Vestergaard after his move to Leicester City.
Last season, Lyanco played 25 matches for Torino and scored one goal.
