Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has welcomed new signing Lucas Torreira.
The midfielder has joined from Arsenal on-loan for the season.
“We got a great player today, Torreira. For two years I heard talk of needing a playmaker and now we finally have one," Commisso told the official Fiorentina channel.
“I think that we will sign someone else before the transfer window shuts. We'll see if we manage it.
“The team is strong, as is the coach, Vincenzo Italiano. I hope to do better than last season."
