Everton have failed with an opening offer for Lazio attacker Joaquin Correa.
TMW says Everton have had their offer turned down by the Serie A club because it was below their asking price.
Arsenal have also been credited with making an offer to sign Correa.
While the report does not say how much Everton have offered, it has been claimed that Lazio are looking for around £21m-£25m for the forward.
The Romans are prepared to sell Correa this month.
