Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin has jumped to the defence of Matteo Guendouzi.
The Arsenal midfielder was criticised for his performance with loan club Olympique Marseille in their victory at Montpellier last weekend.
Local pundit Gilles Favard said: "Guendouzi, we did not see him in the first half, we wondered if he was playing. If he doesn't have hair like he has, we can't see him. They will tell us that he is good because we see him with his hair."
Saint-Maximin responded on social media, stating: "Cheeky from someone we notice on the boards for something other than the 'finesse' of his analysis.
"Bravo for your match, Matteo Guendouzi."
