Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce is denying any ultimatum was given to Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock.
British media reports indicated that Willock had to decide before a specific date whether he wanted to move on loan to the Magpies for another half season or full season.
Bruce, however, has denied those reports, suggesting they are still very much in pursuit of the goalscoring midfielder.
Bruce said: "No.
"But I would kick myself if it happened (he left on loan) and we didn't get him.
"So no I haven't got a cut-off point in my head."
