Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has turned down the Switzerland job.
Blick says Wenger has resisted an approach from the Swiss FA after the departure of Vladimir Petkovic.
Wenger has been out of management since leaving the Gunners. He is currently a technical manager with FIFA.
Former Germany coach Jogi Low has also been sounded out and rejected the Swiss, says Tagesanzeiger.
