Tottenham Hotspur are stepping up their interest in Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma.

The Blues are desperate to offload Zouma as they look to raise funds for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.

They have offered Zouma to West Ham United, but the Frenchman's wage demands have scuppered the deal.

Spurs are now hoping to take advantage of the situation, per Sky Sports.

The north London club are also in talks with Fiorentina over centre-back Nikola Milenkovic.

Zouma would prefer to remain in London amid interest from the Hammers.

Chelsea are looking for at least £25m for the 26-year-old.
