Luke Ayling offered no excuses after Leeds United's thumping at Manchester United.
The fullback struck as Leeds were defeated 5-1 on Saturday.
Ayling later said: "We kind of got back into it. We scored a goal but were 3-1 down before we could get our breath back. We'll go back, see what happened and try to get it right for the next game.
"We said at half-time to keep it tight, try to get forward a bit more and create chances. Some might say we scored too early in the second half. A really poor five minutes in the second half cost us the game.
"I know it's a bad result for us but it's great to see the fans back here. We can't wait to get back to our place next weekend.
"We were beaten by four [at Old Trafford] last year, so it's nothing new to us. We did alright at the end of the season. There are a few lads who have come back late from internationals. We'll go again."
