Barcelona made a serious move for Atletico Madrid attacker Joao Felix this week, it has been revealed.
Sport says late on Monday, Barcelona asked Atletico Madrid to take Felix on loan.
Though agent Jorge Mendes, Barca suggested a loan to Atletico, with no money involved, for Felix. Other sources at Atletico confirmed Barça's interest, but also that the Madrid club had no interest in letting the player leave.
Barça's offer was official, but at the Wanda, they were clear that the answer was no. They transmitted that to Mendes and to Barça officials.
Despite the offer from Barça, and knowing how interested they have always been in the Portugal forward, Atletico didn't want to negotiate: Not a loan, not a transfer.
