Ainsley Maitland-Niles has held clear-the-air talks with Arsenal and will remain at the club until at least January.

The Englishman publicly spoke about his desire to play regular football this season, causing a rift with manager Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners blocked Everton's interest in the 24-year-old this week.

Now it can be revealed that Maitland-Niles has held positive talks with Arsenal, per Sky Sports.

He will now stay and fight for a place in Arteta's squad.
