Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel isn't missed at PSG.
That's according to RMC's Simone Rovera, who discussed the German's time with TMW. Rovera says Tuchel publicly criticising PSG's transfer work never went down well.
"I think even though Leo (Leonardo) had officially confirmed his trust in Tuchel several times, the relationship between the two has never been exceptional. But to fire a PSG coach, you also need the Doha agreement and the approval of Nasser Al-Khelaïfi," said Rovera.
"So if Tuchel left, it is because all the top management of PSG made this decision.
"He has complained several times, even openly, about the club's choices. The non-renewal of Thiago Silva and (Edinson) Cavani, the alleged delay during the last transfer window, in a year when, however, PSG had also had difficulties with covid and where Leonardo had only found a few low-cost solutions at the end of the market. Leonardo had responded publicly and the atmosphere in Paris had become very hot.
“ Tuchel arrived in Paris with the aura of a European coach who would have brought games, results, even in Europe ... but in fact, apart from the first few months, we never understood what he really wanted to do."
