Former Inter Milan defender Fabio Galante is happy seeing Edin Dzeko prove his critics wrong.
Dzeko arrived in the summer from Roma as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku after his move to Chelsea.
Galante told TMW: "I think criticising Dzeko is exaggerated, even for what he has done in recent years. He has always scored and seeing him live at the stadium, it's scary for the defenders.
"I am convinced that the managers did a great job bringing him to Inter to replace Lukaku. Yes, the best replacement to take was Dzeko.
"It's not fair to make comparisons, they have different characteristics. Lukaku is certainly one of the strongest around but the Nerazzurri managers were not caught unprepared and replaced him well. He has scored five goals so far, he could have scored a couple more but the projection is good."
