Jorginho admits he was bothered comments about Maurizio Sarri and his move to Chelsea.
The Italy international was derided in his debut campaign at Stamford Bridge after moving with Sarri from Napoli.
But the holding midfielder has proved his critics wrong after winning the Champions League and Euro 2020 last season.
"The thing that bothered me the most was to hear that I arrived here because of Sarri," the Italy midfielder told BT Sport. "That without him I would never be here."
"That I didn't deserve to be at this club because I wasn't' good enough. It's not correct, I have my value."
