Olympique Marseille president Pablo Longoria is confident signing Arsenal defender William Saliba permanently if they qualify for the Champions League.
Saliba is currently on a season-long loan at OM with no permanent option.
French journalist Thibaud Vézirian said on his Youtube channel: "If OM hangs on the Champions League, he will absolutely want to stay.
"There was no call option for timing or implementation issues. But negotiations are already underway to buy Saliba.
"Longoria, I believe, has even spoken about it."
