AC Milan hero Billy Costacurta felt Liverpool gave his old club a lesson last night.
Milan lost their Champions League group opener 3-2 at Anfield on Wednesday night.
Costacurta reflected: “I haven't seen this whole beautiful AC Milan match. I think it was dominated and under pressure for seventy seventy-five minutes, despite ten excellent minutes in the first half.
"At some point you can lose your clarity and it's easy to go wrong. I believe Liverpool's victory is well deserved and I think they deserved an extra goal as well. In my opinion, Liverpool are much stronger than Milan. There is room to reduce this difference, but I think it is still very large."
