Olivier Giroud admits it was difficult to leave Chelsea for AC Milan.
The veteran centre-forward joined Milan last summer.
He told Telefoot: “Chelsea? It's hard to leave such a club. It's hard to leave England because I spent nine years there. All my children are there, my family felt really good there.
"I liked the Premier League a lot too, but at some point you had to make a decision. The last three months that I lived there and besides I had told the coach (Thomas) Tuchel, it was too hard.
"For me, it was obvious to leave the club, it's a page that was turned with emotion, wonderful moments spent. Good memories, less good ones, but there were still three nice titles."
