Belgium coach Roberto Martinez admits he has some concerns about the fitness of Albert Sambi Lokonga.
The Arsenal midfielder was not involved for Belgium in their 1-0 win over Belarus in Group E of the World Cup Qualifiers.
The Gunners will be sweating regarding the availability of Lokonga for their Premier League clash against Norwich City at the weekend.
"Regarding Sambi, his omission was not a sporting choice," the Belgium manager told reporters.
"There was a small warning, I would not speak of injury, but of discomfort, in training.
"So we decided not to take any risk given the complicated conditions. It was not a sporadic decision on my part."
