RB Leipzig fullback Angelino admits he was touched by his reception from Manchester City fans upon his return a fortnight ago.
The former City defender was with RBL for the 6-3 Champions League defeat at the Etihad.
Angelino admitted that he was touched by the warmness of City fans, especially when he received a second yellow card.
"I was totally surprised the whole stadium celebrated me when I had to leave the pitch", he told BILD.
"The fans were cheering for me when I kicked a corner during the game. The 10 seconds after the yellow card were the best I've ever experienced with City. It sounds strange after a sending-off, but it was just a great gesture, and I was really pleased."
