Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce has promoted teenager Remi Savage to his squad for Saturday's trip to Watford.
The 19-year-old left Liverpool to join Newcastle in the summer, rejecting a one-year offer to stay at Anfield.
Savage has made just six appearances for the Under-23s since joining from the Reds.
However, the Chronicle says Bruce is ready to put the Englishman in his squad to face the Hornets.
He was joined by fellow youngsters Joe White, Jack Young and Elliot Anderson in training on Thursday.
