Gigi Buffon says Juventus fans shouldn't been surprised by Cristiano Ronaldo's departure for Manchester United.
Like Ronaldo, Buffon also left Juve this summer, returning to formative club Parma.
He told Radio Rai: "I think the fans shouldn't be surprised. He has a reputation as a great professional who rightly thinks a lot about himself.
"During these three years, he achieved great performances and scored many goals. I do not see anything illogical in his choice to leave. It's a thoughtful choice.
"I think in the end there was nothing strange. I can only say good things about Cristiano, he's a professional who always gives 100%. He thought he was right to go."
