Germany coach Hansi Flick has revealed Kai Havertz is back in light training.
The Chelsea attacker has been suffering from a flu-like illness, but his symptoms are thought to be mild.
Havertz's illness will be worrying his club boss Thomas Tuchel, who will want him ready for their game against Aston Villa at the weekend.
But Havertz will travel with Germany for their World Cup Qualifier against Iceland.
"We will take everyone with us. Kai has trained on a bike, but not out on the pitch yet," Flick told reporters, per the Metro.
"Things are already looking a lot better for Robin [Gosen of Atalanta]."
