Former Real Madrid midfielder Alvaro Benito has questioned the hype around Barcelona defender Eric Garcia.
Benito isn't convinced that the former Manchester City stopper is suited to leading Barca's defence.
He told Cadena SER: "(Garcia) is not prepared for a team as exposed as Barça.
"In fact, not even Pep Guardiola had him at City, he practically didn't give him games.
"Football is discussed in the present tense. Eric Garcia is not that centre-back who is not going to suffer in this type of situation, with seven players ahead of the ball.
"He has been given the opportunity too soon in terms of merit.
"You have to be a superman to play for a team like Barça, which is so exposed."
