Released Arsenal defender David Luiz was offered to Serie A minnows Spezia, it has been revealed.
The Brazilian is currently weighing up offers from Benfica and Olympique Marseille.
And Spezia football chief Riccardo Pecini admits he took a call earlier in the summer from an agent about Luiz.
He said, "We have been contacted by an agent for David Luiz.
"But I did not quite understand if he was speaking seriously or not..."
