Takehiro Tomiyasu is clear to make his Arsenal debut against Norwich City on Saturday.
He will be available for selection in Saturday's crucial home clash against newly-promoted Norwich City.
The Japan international was the last of six summer signings for the Gunners, putting pen to paper on a last-minute switch to the Emirates on deadline day from Serie A outfit Bologna.
Tomiyasu only enjoyed his first training session with his new teammates today (Thursday, September 9), two days shy of the game against Daniel Farke's Canaries, but is now suitable to make his Gunners debut as far as the Premier League are concerned.
As of Thursday morning, the 22-year-old was waiting to have his work permit approved following his move to north London, the last step before he would officially be allowed to play.
Without permission, his debut - which could now potentially come against Norwich, would have been further delayed.
The Mirror says his application was given the all clear and the Japan international is expected to be part of the matchday squad on Saturday.
