Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano felt they could've scored more in their 2-1 defeat of Atalanta.

Dusan Vlahovic converted two penalties at the Gewiss Stadium, with Duvan Zapata pulling one back and La Dea seeing a goal disallowed.

“It is tough to win here, so this represents a really important result," Italiano told Sky Italia.

“We did very well in the first half, then got a bit deeper in the second, but still had the chances to score a third goal. I am a little annoyed because we should've scored on the counter and wasted similar chances against Torino, so we need to improve that."

On Vlahovic, he added: “He has an extraordinary work ethic, in training just as much as in a match situation. That is a great thing for a young player to have, and if he continues like this without losing his humility, he will really go far. He is hungry, wants to win and won't rest on his laurels, that's his secret."
