Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson hailed Curtis Jones after Tuesday's win over Porto.

The 20-year-old midfielder started his second game in a row for Liverpool as they ran out 5-1 winners in Portugal.

Jones was impressive throughout the night, and Henderson hailed the youngster for his maturity.

"Curtis has been fantastic," said the England international. "On paper he is so young but I feel like he has been around the first team for years. He has settled and matured really well.

"He has had to be patient but has come in and done well. He has all the attributes to be a top player."
