Inter Milan GM Beppe Marotta has deflected praise for his market work to his fellow directors.

Inter lost Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi leave as the club needed to balance the books. However, Edin Dzeko, Joaquin Correa, Hakan Calhanoglu and Denzel Dumfries arrived to strengthen the team.

“I am responsible for transfers, but I must highlight the crucial help from [Piero] Ausilio and [Dario] Baccin," the Inter director said before their draw with Sampdoria.

“We met the club's requests and we wanted to be competitive, making the most of every opportunity."
