Istanbul Basaksehir failed with an offer to Everton outcast James Rodriguez yesterday.

Turkey's summer market closed on Wednesday night, with Istanbul Basaksehir making an attempt for the Colombia international.

Local reporter Yagiz Sabunchoglu revealed the Turks and Everton had agreed on a loan deal for James.

But the midfielder and his agent refused the switch over personal terms.

James has returned to training this week at Finch Farm, though is yet to see action for Everton this season.
