Sam Mather has signed pro terms with Manchester United.
Mather made his first under-23 appearance for United in last weekend's 3-1 defeat to Arsenal.
He was rewarded with a call up for United's premier youth side following an impressive beginning to the season for the under-18 side.
The young winger replaced prospect Zidane Iqbal on the 68th minute after United's under-18 match was postponed, permitting him to make the step up.
He is a member of the England U18 squad.
