Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has hit out at the local media for stoking the rift between Antoine Griezmann and the Atleti support.
Griezmann was jeered by home fans during last night's 0-0 draw with Champions League opponents Porto - his first appearance at the Wanda Metropolitano since returning on-loan from Barcelona.
Cholo said later: "They are making a movie and making curiosity out of the situation that it is clear that the importance of having recovered a great footballer such as Griezmann and that we can enjoy him.
"We hope he gets better and that he can respond to the people who are criticising him.
"He has a challenge ahead of him as a result of what has happened in the past."
