Valencia coach Jose Bordalas is delighted with the way they've started the season.
Bordalas took charge of VCF this summer after leaving Getafe.
He said, "Arriving at Valencia was an important step and I am going to give absolutely everything because Valencia is once again in the place it deserves.
"I spoke with Peter Lim and he was very excited about this new stage. Hopefully we can have another talk to see how the team evolves.
"The players are very identified and committed, that makes me happy. I see the illusion of the people and it encourages me much more. It is a beginning that hardly anyone expected and it is hopeful."
Bordalas was also happy for Gonçalo Guedes' continuity after rumours about his possible departure: "He is a magnificent player. Today (yesterday) he has revolutionised Portugal. I am very happy with him, very happy that he continues here."
