Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk admits he rates PSG ace Leo Messi ahead of Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
Van Dijk was asked to rate the attacking pair.
"I would say Lionel Messi, he is still the world's best football player," Van Dijk.
"He and Cristiano have delivered unreal figures in recent decades and it is unbelievable what they have achieved.
"But in this case I will choose Messi, we had a tough night in Barcelona (2019)."
