Manchester City and Puma are coming together to work on a deal for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
The Daily Star says Puma, who are City's kit sponsors, want to sign up the £150million-rated Norwegian striker as their new poster boy.
Puma will offer Haaland, 21, a whopping £50million over four years in an effort to lure him away from his current boot sponsors Nike.
Haaland still has two years left to run on that package with the American company.
But the Borussia Dortmund sensation, with 47 goals in 48 league games for the German club, could switch brands sooner.
And if he does, that will play into the hands of Premier League champions City in the pursuit of Haaland - thanks to their close business ties with Puma.
In addition to the long-term kit deal agreed in 2019 - worth an estimated £650m over ten years - Pep Guardiola, Kyle Walker, Ederson and Oleksandr Zinchenko all have individual contracts with the German company.
