Lille defender Sven Botman has confirmed three clubs wanted to sign him over the summer.
Botman, speaking with NOS, confirmed the interest of Liverpool, Wolves and Sevilla.
He said, "I cannot lie about it.
"It was the club's decision that I would stay, but I also do not think it was a bad idea.
"I play in the Champions League, so it was definitely not a mistake to stay. In football it sometimes goes strong, but I think everything will probably fall into place for me."
