Wolves boss Bruno Lage admits they may not have too many transfer funds available in January.

The Premier League outfit are still finding their way since the departure of former boss Nuno Espirito Santo, who is now at Tottenham.

Wolves are in 12th position in the Premier League after seven matches.

Lage is said to want a defender and midfielder in January, per Birmingham Live.

He said: "We are looking for everything, but what I'm not looking for is for players just to come and fill the squad - those ones I don't want.

"We need to bring two or three more players to have more competition, guys who come to help us.

"Yes (we are looking at the free agent market) but for players who could help us, not just to fill the squad."
