Neil Warnock doesn't believe Newcastle United will be able to land a big name manager.
The Magpies are now one of the richest clubs in the world after a Saudi-backed consortium completed a takeover last week.
Brendan Rodgers, Antonio Conte, Lucien Favre and Steven Gerrard are just some of the names to be linked, although Steve Bruce is still the manager.
Speaking on talkSPORT this morning, the former Leeds United and Cardiff City chief said: "I don't think Newcastle are going to get one of them [a big name].
"I think the next one is going to like an interim manager for a couple of years to try and get them on the steady, then somebody big will come in.
"Nobody big is going to come in now, unless they're desperate for a job.
"It won't be overnight, I think it will be a couple of years before one of the top managers comes in.
"But they will be a force, with the backing they get, it's amazing."
