Spain coach Luis Enrique has taken a swipe at his critics ahead of tonight's Nations League semifinal.
Enrique's La Roja are preparing for tonight's Nations League semifinal against Italy at the San Siro stadium in Milan.
The coach was asked if he'd read the criticism from pundits of the make-up of his squad, Enrique replied: "I neither read nor look, nor listen nor see ... as I never read, because for me it is the same list as always. They are the ones that I want, in which I have confidence.
"Why? Because I know more about football than you do and I clearly know what I'm looking for. In none of the opinions that I can read there is nothing that could interest me."
Amongst the criticisms is Enrique's call for Barcelona utility Sergi Roberto.
But he stated: "I made him debut for Barça B. He is a great player who can play in various positions, very versatile. Now he has to pay for some broken dishes, but I see him very happy to be with us."
