Arsenal are still keen on signing Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria.
The defensive anchorman, who also plays for the Swiss national team, is someone the Gunners have been monitoring for some time.
According to SportBILD, Arsenal will attempt to sign Zakaria in January, as he is out of contract in the summer.
His club may be tempted to part with him for a cut price fee, or risk losing him on a free transfer when the season concludes.
If Arsenal cannot strike a deal with Bladbach in January, they will offer Zakaria a pre-contract with a view to a summer transfer.
